Privacy policy
Effective date: 21 June 2026
Who this covers
This policy covers the Spectraforge Audio website, product purchase support, offline licence-file generation, and direct support for Silk, Gloss, and Fold. The operator and data controller is Spectraforge Audio Ltd, 41 Northampton Road, Bromham, Bedford, MK43 8PB, United Kingdom. Contact us at info@spectraforgeaudio.com for privacy questions or requests.
Information we collect
We collect the information needed to run the store, support customers, and protect the products. This can include your name, email address, purchase details, Lemon Squeezy order and licence identifiers, support messages, product/version details, operating system, DAW or plugin format when relevant, and consent choices for optional analytics.
Payment card details are processed by Lemon Squeezy and its payment providers. We do not receive or store full card numbers. When you generate an offline licence file, the website validates your Lemon Squeezy licence key and purchase email before returning the signed product licence file.
How we use it
We use purchase and licence data to deliver software, verify purchases, create offline licence files, prevent licence abuse, and handle refunds or disputes. We use support data to answer your request and diagnose product issues. We use optional analytics only when you consent, to understand whether the site and marketing are working.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not upload your audio, project files, local file paths, song names, handoff-pack contents, or private notes for Silk, Gloss, or Fold processing.
Product audio and local files
Silk and Gloss process audio locally on your machine. Fold packages the files you choose locally. Unless you deliberately email us a file for support, Spectraforge Audio does not receive your music, stems, project folders, handoff notes, or local file paths.
Analytics and advertising
With your consent, we may use analytics or advertising tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to measure page views, checkout interest, and campaign performance. You can accept or decline optional analytics in the cookie banner. If you decline, those optional analytics scripts do not load from this site.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate the business, including website hosting, checkout, licence validation, email/support handling, analytics when consented, release downloads, and security. Key providers may include Lemon Squeezy for checkout, payments, taxes, refunds, downloads, and Lemon licence keys; Vercel for website hosting; Google Analytics for optional site analytics when configured and consented; Meta for optional advertising measurement when configured and consented; and email or support tools used to receive and answer messages.
Retention
We keep purchase, licence, refund, and support records for as long as needed to provide the products, meet accounting and legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain licence access. We keep optional analytics data according to the retention settings of the analytics provider and our business need for campaign reporting.
International transfers
Some providers may process personal data outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on the provider's applicable data-transfer safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism. Email us if you need more information about the safeguards for a specific provider.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data. You can also withdraw consent for optional analytics by clearing the site consent setting in your browser or contacting us. To make a request, email info@spectraforgeaudio.com.
If you are in the UK and you are unhappy with how we handle your privacy request, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect customer data and private signing keys. Do not send raw licence keys, private client files, unreleased music, or sensitive local paths in an initial support email unless we specifically ask for a safe diagnostic sample.
Changes
We may update this policy as products, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date.
