Gloss for AI cleanup and mastering

AI makes the music. Gloss cleans and masters the finish.

Native cleanup and mastering plugin for Suno, Udio, and other AI exports on macOS and Windows. Press Analyze for a strong starting point, then reduce harsh resonances, tidy stereo image, smooth brittle top-end, and add controlled loudness when the track is ready.

Analyze the track

Analyze reads local playback from a representative section for a few seconds and writes a usable starting point to the real controls.

Tune the cleanup

Fix, Space, Air, Mix, and Master stay visible so you can back off quickly when a source already sounds strong.

Finish or export

Use it in a DAW as AU/VST3, or open the Standalone app to preview and export a processed WAV.

Gloss in context

Hear raw, cleaned, and removed artifacts

Each example uses the same three-part listening format: the raw AI export, the Gloss pass, and the artifacts Delta so you can hear what the cleanup is taking away.

Good fit

Use it when the idea is there, but the finish is not.

AI exports with harsh resonances, brittle top-end, stereo smear, or phasey edges.

Creators who want a cleaner starting point without building a long repair chain.

Tracks where the song idea already works and the remaining problem is the finish.

Honest limits

Cleaner does not mean every issue disappears.

Not a rewrite tool for weak songs, bad timing, clipped renders, or broken arrangements.

Strong generations may only need a light touch, so the change will not always be dramatic.

Automaster is optional and should be used after the cleanup feels right.

FAQ

Gloss questions, answered plainly.

Gloss is intentionally narrow: it cleans common AI music artifacts and gives you an editable starting point, without pretending to fix every song problem automatically.

What is Gloss, in plain English?

A macOS and Windows plugin plus Standalone app for cleaning up common problems in AI-generated music — usually less harshness, steadier stereo, and more controlled highs. Press Analyze for one-click help, or drive Fix / Space / Air by hand.

Will Gloss fix everything automatically?

No. It focuses on the cleanup and mastering issues AI tools often share: harsh resonances, stereo weirdness, brittle or dull top-end, loudness, and peak control. Every song is different, and bad arrangement, timing, rights issues, or a damaged export still need your judgement — or a new render.

Will every track change a lot?

No. If the source is already strong, the difference may be subtle. Gloss is designed to clean up specific issues, not force a dramatic before/after on every file.

Which AI tools does it work with?

Any stereo export — Suno, Udio, and similar generators are what we tune presets for, but the detection generalises across AI music sources.

What are Fix, Space, and Air?

Fix reduces harshness, resonances, and mud. Space improves mono compatibility and stereo image. Air smooths brittle fizz and restores controlled high-end presence. Analyze sets them automatically; tweak after.

Plugin formats and platform?

AU and VST3 on macOS, VST3 on Windows, plus a Standalone app. Stereo in and out; mono files handled automatically.

Does Gloss send my audio to a server?

No. All processing is local on your machine. No uploads, no telemetry on the audio thread, no internet required to run.

Is Gloss meant to hide that music was made with AI?

No. Gloss is for cleaning artifacts and mastering a usable export, not for disguising AI provenance, misleading listeners, bypassing disclosure rules, or fooling streaming platforms. You are responsible for rights, platform policies, and release decisions.

Can I use it on client work?

Yes. The licence covers commercial and non-commercial projects on your personal machines.

Is VAT included?

Lemon Squeezy (our checkout) handles VAT automatically based on your country. The basket price is shown in GBP; any applicable VAT is added at checkout before you pay.

Refund policy?

30-day money-back guarantee unless checkout states otherwise. Email info@spectraforgeaudio.com; statutory consumer rights still apply.

When do I get my download?

Right after purchase — your Lemon Squeezy receipt contains the download link and licence key.

Is it heavy on the CPU?

It does more than a simple EQ (oversampling plus ML analysis). Freeze or bounce tracks in big sessions, or use Standalone for one-off files.
